As kitchen designers our starting point is always our client, how they cook, what they cook, how many people they cook for. Are they serious cooks or do that serve food from carry out menus? We carefully inventory storage needs, often custom designing not just where, but how, utensils and appliances will be stored. Because we are architects, we bring to the process ideas that are uniquely architectural. We always think of cabinetry as the walls of a space or as elements of visual connection between spaces.
